It's a page from the never-to-be-published PUNISHER: SAVAGE LAND graphic novel that Gray Kwapisz and I did years ago.

Why was it never published?

When the then-editor of the Punisher line left Marvel he left behind many hundreds of thousands of dollars of inventory material he'd assigned. A lot of it was made irrelevant by continuity changes. This 64 page graphic novel of Frank Castle in the Savage Land was just one of the casualties. Along with a second Punisher western by me and Russ Heath. Were I working at Marvel I'd publish a fat paperback called the INESSENTIAL PUNISHER and cut my losses.
